N-Trityl Candesartan is a chemical intermediate used to synthesize candesartan cilexetil, a prodrug of antihypertensive drug candesartan. Candesartan is an ARB type drug, known as angiotensin receptor antagonist. It can inhibit the contraction of blood vessels and reduce the resistance of peripheral blood vessels. Generally, it can reduce blood pressure, heart rate and cardiac output bleeding, improve ejection fraction and protect renal function. It is mainly used to reduce blood pressure in clinic.
