The CIS trans mixture of 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid is a white crystal, which is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone and chloroform. Trans-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid is a white phosphorus columnar crystal with lower solubility in water than cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. Cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid is a white leaf crystal with considerable solubility in water. This product is used to synthesize peptic ulcer medicine in medicine and modify monomer in polyester resin to improve yellowing and softness of polyester resin without changing hardness.

6-Methoxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-naphthalen-1-one is a raw material for the synthesis of macrocyclic compounds, especially steroids. For example, this product is an important intermediate of 18-methylnorethynone, triengaonorone and other drugs. Norethisterone 18-methyl, mainly combined with ethinylestradiol, can be used as a short-term oral contraceptive or a long-term contraceptive by changing the dosage form. It can also be used to treat dysmenorrhea and irregular menstruation. Triengaonorone is a medium strength progesterone with strong anti progesterone and anti estrogen activities. It has significant anti implantation and anti early pregnancy effects, and has very weak estrogen and androgen effects. It is used for family visiting contraception, post contraception, anti early pregnancy and treatment of endometriosis.
