Molecular Formula:C5H11NO2
Crotyl Alcohol; Cis/Trans-Crotyl Alcohol; 2-Methyl-2-Aminobutanoic Acid; 2-Butenol; But-2-En-1-Ol; Dl-Isovaline; 2-Amino-2-Methylbutanoic Acid; Mechchch2Oh; 2-Buten-1-O1; L-2-Methyl-2-Aminobutanoic Acid; Crotonyl Alcoho1; Z-Isovaline; Krotylalkohol; 2-Butenylalcohol; 2-Butene-1-Ol; Isovaline
Brief Introduction
Isovaline does not cross the blood-brain barrier and does not enter into the brain or spinal cord. Drugs such as opioids cross the blood-brain barrier to produce analgesia but often produce confusion, sedation and addiction. Isovaline acts downstream to the cyclooxygenase system that NSAIDs inhibit, suggesting a means to avoid adverse effects such as irritation of the gastrointestinal system. This novel first-in-class compound has potential for treatment of acute and chronic pain, without the negative side effects associated with other commonly used analgesics.

Setastine Hydrochloride; Egyt-2062; 1-{2-[1-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-Phenylethoxy]Ethyl}Azepanium Chloride; Setastina [Spanish]; Setastine Hcl; Loderix; 1-(2-(1-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-Phenylethoxy)Ethyl)Hexahydro-1H-Azepine Hydrochloride
Brief Introduction
Stastatin hydrochloride tablets, the indication is antihistamine. It is used to treat acute and chronic urticaria, perennial allergic rhinitis and other acute and chronic allergic reaction symptoms.
Brief Introduction
Prednylidene is a glucocorticoid for systemic use. Substitution at position 16 also leads to more potent corticosteroids. The additional steric bulk introduced by such substituents adjacent to the dihydroxyacetone side chain also protects that moiety against metabolic degradation.
