It is an excellent phosphite antioxidant. It is white powder in appearance. It is easily soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, chloroform and cyclohexane, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, insoluble in polar solvents such as water and alcohol, and slightly soluble in esters. It has low toxicity, low volatility, high thermal stability and excellent hydrolysis resistance. It can effectively decompose the hydroperoxide produced in the thermal processing of polymeric materials. It has good synergistic effect with hindered amine antioxidants 1010 and 1076, and can improve the stability of polymeric materials during hot processing. There are more than ten preparations compounded with phenolic antioxidants, which are widely used in polyolefins (such as polyethylene and polypropylene) and olefin copolymers, polyamides, polycarbonates, PS resins, PVC, engineering plastics, rubber and petroleum products, ABS resins and other polymer materials. The compound can also be used as an adhesive.
