The antibacterial mechanism of fosfomycin is the same as that of chloramphenicol and fosfomycin. It mainly inhibits peptide acyltransferase by inhibiting the binding of bacterial 70S ribosome and 50S subunit, so as to inhibit the extension of peptide chain and interfere with the synthesis of bacterial protein.
The antibacterial activity of fosfomycin was higher than that of chloramphenicol and fosfomycin, especially for some bacteria resistant to chloramphenicol and fosfomycin. Infectious diseases caused by various acute and chronic sensitive bacteria in animal husbandry and aquatic animals (fish, shrimp, crab, turtle, shell, etc.).
