Cabataxel is a microtubule inhibitor, which is suitable for the combination with prednisone or prednisolone in the treatment of patients with hormone refractory metastatic prostate cancer with docetaxel containing treatment regimen. It has achieved more accurate treatment in the whole treatment process. It acts by disrupting the microtubule network essential for mitotic and interphase cell function and causes inhibition of cell division and cell death.
