Sodium Hexafluorosilicate
Product introduction:
Sodium fluosilicate is an inorganic substance, which belongs to coordination salt, namely complex salt. The chemical formula is Na2SiF6. It is the fluosilicate f variety with the largest consumption in construction and building materials industry. It is mainly used as enamel t cosolvent, glass opal, acid resistant mastic, acid resistant concrete coagulant and wood preservative. It is used in the manufacture of pesticides in the pesticide industry. Preservative in wood industry; Hygroscopic agent for acid resistant cement. Used as an opacifying agent for glass and enamel; Natural latex T products are used as coagulant, additives in electrodeposited zinc, nickel and iron coatings, and plastic fillers. In addition, it is also used for fluorination treatment of pharmaceutical and drinking water, and sodium fluoride for manufacturing artificial cryolite.

Matters needing attention:
This product belongs to the poison of dangerous chemicals. It can induce vomiting by ingestion, drinking warm water and vomiting.
Storage method:
It shall be sealed and stored in a dry and ventilated place. It shall be stored separately with oxidants and edible chemicals.
Sodium fluorosilicate can be used as insecticide in agriculture, opal for enamel, corrosion agent for opal glass, preservative for wood and raw material for manufacturing other fluorides. It is also used in smelting beryllium and aluminum, medicine, leather and rubber industries. It can be used as accelerator of water glass bond in refractories. Due to the low solubility of sodium fluosilicate in water, the reaction between sodium fluosilicate and water glass is slow and gradual, which is not only beneficial to the construction, but also has high density and strength. It is most commonly used in inorganic materials combined with water glass.
