Vidarabine (9- β- D-arabinofuranosyl adenine) is a nucleoside antiviral drug with broad-spectrum antiviral activity. It has the strongest effect on herpes zoster virus and herpes zoster virus, followed by varicella zoster virus, vaccinia virus and hepatitis B virus, and is also effective on adenovirus, pseudorabies virus and some RNA tumor viruses.
