Polylactic Acid uses starch-based biomass such as corn and potatoes or straw cellulose as raw materials, fermented to produce lactic acid, prepared from lactic acid into cyclic dimer lactide, and then ring-opening polymerization of lactide to produce polylactic acid. As a bio-based degradable material, polylactic acid has the characteristics of environmental protection, non-toxicity and degradability. It is currently the largest biodegradable material in the international market, with the widest application range and the highest cost performance. It is the closest to petroleum-based polyester. Biodegradable materials are in large-scale demand in the plastics, packaging, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.
Product features: Polylactic Acid is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, antibacterial, flame retardant and has good biocompatibility, and can be completely biodegraded under industrial composting conditions.
