Iota refined carrageenan is mainly a high molecular hydrophilic polysaccharide extracted from Eucheuma Spinosum. Iota carrageenan is also called calcium-sensitive carrageenan. The gel has excellent characteristics such as good water retention and high transparency. It is widely used in dairy products, beverages, new health products, pharmaceuticals and daily chemical products.
