Chlorotoluene thiazide, also known as diazoxide, tachypropin and antihypertensive azine, is a kind of antihypertensive drug. It has the basic structure of thiazide diuretics, but has no diuretic effect. Direct dilation of arterioles has no obvious effect on veins. It may activate ATP sensitive potassium channel to hyperpolarize arterial smooth muscle cells, produce smooth muscle relaxation, reduce peripheral vascular resistance and reduce blood pressure. While lowering blood pressure, the heart rate increases and the cardiac output does not decrease. But the decrease of blood pressure can reflex sympathetic excitement, resulting in tachycardia, myocardial contractility and cardiac output. * it partly counteracts the antihypertensive effect of drugs, and can aggravate the burden of the heart, induce or increase angina pectoris, and increase renin secretion, resulting in an increase in secretion of aldosterone, resulting in retention of water and sodium. B receptor blockers and diuretics can be combined to correct. It is suitable for the first aid of hypertensive crisis, as well as for raising blood sugar, childhood idiopathic hypoglycemia and severe hypoglycemia caused by islet cell tumor.

Carnosic acid is suitable for antioxidation of oil soluble components. It is used in sauces, pet food and feed. It has the effects of antioxidation, anti-aging, weight loss and lipid reduction. It can be used in the treatment of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Penbutolol (Levatol, Levatolol, Lobeta, Paginol, Hostabloc, Betapressin) is a medication in the class of beta blockers, used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Penbutolol is able to bind to both beta-1 adrenergic receptors and beta-2 adrenergic receptors (the two subtypes), thus making it a non-selective β blocker.:Table 10-2, p 252 Penbutolol is a sympathomimetic drug with properties allowing it to act as a partial agonist at β adrenergic receptors. It was approved by the FDA in 1987 and was withdrawn from the US market by January 2015.

Darexaban (YM150) is a direct inhibitor of factor Xa created by Astellas Pharma. It is an experimental drug that acts as an anticoagulant and antithrombotic to prevent venous thromboembolism after a major orthopaedic surgery, stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation and possibly ischemic events in acute coronary syndrome. It is used in form of the maleate. The development of darexaban was discontinued in September 2011.

Etidocaine, marketed under the trade name Duranest, is a local anesthetic given by injection during surgical procedures and labor and delivery. Etidocaine has a long duration of activity, and the main disadvantage of using during dentistry is increased bleeding during surgery.
