Brief Introduction
Isoxsuprine is a benzyl alcohol derivative with vasodilator activity. The mechanism of action of isoxsuprine hydrochloride is controversial, because isoxsuprine has beta-adrenergic activities that could not be offset by beta-adrenergic blockers. Although stimulation of the beta adrenergic receptor increases blood flow to produce vasodilatation, this agent may also have direct effects on the contractility of smooth muscle. Additionally, isoxsuprine causes relaxation of uterine smooth muscle and may also produce positive inotropic and chronotropic effects on the myocardium.

Brief Introduction
Pasiritide double aspartic acid is a growth hormone inhibitor analogue. In the experiment of studying the distribution of growth hormone (GH) releasing factor in mouse hypothalamus, a peptide that can inhibit GH release was accidentally found. This peptide is named somatostatin (SS). It is a circular peptide composed of 14 amino acids and plays a role through somatostatin receptor on cell membrane. On December 14, 2012, FDA approved the new "orphan drug" paxiletine double Aspartate Injection (trade name: signifor) developed by Novartis pharmaceutical company to be listed in the United States. The drug is used to treat Cushing's disease that cannot be treated surgically.
