The quaternary ammonium group of the oxime compounds can tend to the cation site of the inactivated phosphorylcholinesterase bound by organophosphorus insecticides. Its nucleophilic group can directly combine with the phosphorylation group of cholinesterase and separate from the cholinesterase, so that the cholinesterase can recover its original state and reappear its activity. The reactivation effect on the aged cholinesterase inhibited by organophosphorus insecticides for more than 36 hours was very poor. It has no reactivation effect on cholinesterase inhibited by chronic organophosphorus pesticide poisoning. The effect of this product on the symptoms of nicotine like caused by organophosphorus insecticides is obvious, but the effect on the symptoms of muscarinic like is weak, and the effect on the symptoms of central nervous system is not obvious.
