Nitrobenzene is an important organic intermediate. Nitrobenzene is converted into m-nitrobenzene sulfonic acid with sulfur trioxide. It can be used as intermediate temperature of dyes, oxidant and anti dye salt s. M-nitrobenzene sulfonyl chloride is obtained by sulfonation of nitrobenzene with chlorosulfonic acid. It is used as an intermediate in dyes, pharmaceuticals and so on. M-nitrochlorobenzene is obtained by chlorination of nitrobenzene. It is widely used in the production of dyes and pesticides. M-chloroaniline can be obtained by reduction. It is used as an orange based dye GC, as well as an intermediate for medicine, pesticides, fluorescent brighteners, organic pigments, etc. M-dinitrobenzene can be obtained by re nitration of nitrobenzene. M-phenylenediamine can be obtained by reduction. It can be used as dye intermediate, epoxy resin curing agent, petroleum additive and cement accelerator. M-nitroaniline can be obtained by partial reduction of m-dinitrobenzene with sodium sulfide. It is the dye orange radical R, which is the intermediate of azo dyes and organic pigments.
