Brief Introduction
Metformin is the first line and the first choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It mainly increases the sensitivity to insulin by peripheral tissues such as muscle and fat, increases glucose uptake and utilization, promotes anaerobic glycolysis of sugar, inhibits glycogen production, reduces glycogen output, inhibits intestinal wall cell uptake of glucose, and reduces fasting and postprandial hyperglycemia. In addition, metformin also has a weight reduction effect, and can inhibit the biosynthesis and storage of cholesterol, reduce triglycerides and total cholesterol levels, improve vascular endothelial cell function and increase blood flow, especially for obese or overweight patients with type 2 diabetes, and prevent the occurrence and development of diabetic macrovascular complications and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events.

Brief Introduction
Pyridoxal is one form of vitamin B6.Some medically relevant bacteria, such as those in the genera Granulicatella and Abiotrophia, require pyridoxal for growth. This nutritional requirement can lead to the culture phenomenon of satellite growth. In in vitro culture, these pyridoxal-dependent bacteria may only grow in areas surrounding colonies of bacteria from other genera ("satellitism") that are capable of producing pyridoxal.Pyridoxal is involved in what is believed to be the most ancient reaction of aerobic metabolism on Earth, about 2.9billion years ago, a forerunner of the Great Oxidation Event.

Brief Introduction
Ranitidine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride of anti acid and anti ulcer drug ranitidine. Its pharmacological action is the same as that of ranitidine. Its chemical structure is similar to that of cimetidine. It is a new type of H2 receptor antagonist synthesized on the basis of cimetidine. Its adverse reaction is less than that of cimetidine. Its inhibitory effect on gastric acid secretion is 5-8 times of that of cimetidine. It can effectively inhibit the secretion of gastric acid induced by histamine and pentagastrin, and reduce the activity of gastric acid and gastric enzymes. It is suitable for the treatment of ulcer after gastric and duodenal operation, reflux esophagitis, Zhuo AI syndrome, prevention of gastrointestinal bleeding caused by stress ulcer, recurrent bleeding of hemorrhagic peptic ulcer, inhalation of gastric acid during general anesthesia, etc.
