Byname: Calciferol

Pharmacology and effect: it’s a kind of vitamin medicine. It involves in calcium-phosphorus metabolism, promotes calcium and phosphorus absorption in intestine, and enhances the calcification of bone matrix. It is used to cure rickets, osteomalacia, and hyperparathyroidism. It has a better effect for pediatric growth retardation, calcium lack of pregnancy, and senile osteoporosis, and can be used as nutrition additive in food industry, and compound feed additive in feed industry.
