Pharmacology action: This product is one of the most important metabolic products of vitamin D₃in human body. Under normal circumstances, Calcitriol is synthesized by the 25- hydroxy bile of its precursor. The daily physiological synthesis of the human body is about 0.5-1.0ug. During active periods of bone formation (such as growth or gestation period), the amount of it is also increased slightly. Calcitriol can promote intestinal absorption of calcium, and regulate bone calcification. For patients with severe renal failure, especially in long-term hemodialysis treatment, the synthesis of endogenous ossification of three alcohols decreased significantly and even completely stopped. The lack of three alcohol is the key to the formation of renal bone disease.

Dihydroxycholecalciferol is vitamin 1 α， 25-d3 is one of the most important active metabolites. This metabolite is usually formed in the kidney. In recent years, it has been found that calcitriol can also be produced outside the kidney. It has been confirmed that there are 1 in placenta, monocytes, macrophages, tumor cell supernatant, lymph nodes and keratinocytes in patients with sarcoidosis α Hydroxylase can produce calcitriol. The precursor of calcitriol is 25 hydroxycholecalciferol (afacalcitol). Dihydroxycholecalciferol can promote the absorption of calcium in the small intestine and regulate the transport of inorganic salts in bone.
