Very soluble in water, 0.5% aqueous solution pho4 0-5.5。 It has no odor and bitter hemp taste.
Pharmacological action:
Lidocaine is a first-line drug for the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias caused by acute and severe hemodynamic abnormalities. Cardioversion is also effective for some supraventricular arrhythmias, such as bypass mediated supraventricular tachycardia and acute or parasympathetic mediated atrial fibrillation. It is widely used for surface anesthesia of mucous membrane (such as before endotracheal intubation). EMLA cream is used for skin surface anesthesia before intravenous intubation. In order to ensure the anesthetic effect, it is necessary to apply it on the skin for 45 ~ 60min, and wrap it with airtight dressing to promote absorption. EMLA is very useful for rabbit ear vein intubation and young dog and cat vein intubation.
