Galacto-Oligosaccharides


Galacto-oligosaccharide is a functional oligosaccharide with natural properties. In nature, there is a small amount of galactooligosaccharide in animal milk, but it is more in human breast milk. The establishment of Bifidobacterium flora in infants largely depends on the low galactose component in breast milk. The galactooligosaccharide in the ingredient series of bowling treasure company helps to improve the constipation and poor calcium absorption of non breastfed infants, and help improve the nutrition and health status of infants.

GOS is listed as new resources food and can be added to infant food and  dairy products. The biggest consumption of GOS is 15g/d.

USA:

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has affirmed GOS as GRAS(generally recognized as safe) .

Europe:

GOS is listed as  food inqredient and can be added to infant formula food, and the maximum amount shall not exceed 0.8g/100mL.

Japan:

GOS is is used as functional food, and which is added to dairy products as prebiotics.

Australia/New Zealand.: GOS can be added to infant formula food and the maximum amount shall not exceed 0.8g/100mL.
