Product overview:
Bupivacaine hydrochloride is an amide type local anesthetic, which is generally used for nerve block anesthesia, local infiltration anesthesia and epidural anesthesia. Its mechanism of action is similar to that of amide type local anesthetics, that is, the drug first binds to plasma protein, metabolizes through the liver, and then excretes from the urine through the kidney.
Pharmacological action:
Bupivacaine hydrochloride is a long-acting local anesthetic of amide type. Its anesthesia time is 2 ~ 3 times longer than lidocaine hydrochloride, and its dispersion is similar to lidocaine hydrochloride. It has little effect on circulation and respiration, has no irritation to tissues, does not produce methemoglobinemia, and the commonly used amount has no effect on cardiovascular function. When the amount is large, it can reduce blood pressure and slow down heart rate. No obvious rapid tolerance.
